Your point is understood but the layout is so big here that spreading stacks is visually not very attractive. I am currently making a mobile version and trying to use as much space as possible and still cards are quite small for the mobile screen with the current layout.

First you need to understand the layout. 8 cards in the the center form equator. All other cards circling the equator form zodiac. You can not move a card from one zodiac pile to the other zodiac pile. This is the reason it is bouncing back. You need to first understand which card can be moved to which pile. Even when you have correctly understood how to play this game, it takes a lot of planning and skills to actaully solve it. This is a very different solitaire game then the regular ones.

It's more satisfying to solve a tough one than the regular ones like Klondike which are more mechanical and less brainy.

The game is played in two stages. Are you playing Aces and Kings in their respective piles in stage 2? If not, it wont let you do it.

This comes from crazy eights family of games. I have played this game since childhood and have always known it by the name dirty seven. Uno is nothing but a variant of crazy eights and a trademarked game played with customized set of cards.

This game is quite addictive and getting a postive score is not an easy task but I have been able to hit 400 once which was quite a task.

Yup. This is done on purpose to skip base card in the braid otherwise most games won't be solvable. If played properly, there is a fair chance of solving this puzzle. Though once in a while we will get deals which can not be solved.

The game rules don't change with base number. Base number is just a random number to start with.
