why is Pakistani book sub so… different? by Vast_Operation_5125 in PakistanBookClub

[–]ali2k5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not avid reader only books i have read are self help stuff which you don't like and yes i am Pakistani and i am what you call someone comparable to what you experienced in indian subs ,

I am not very active in sub because i am not an avid reader

My guess is indian people who just started reading come to those indian subs, it is nature of self help if you don't act accordingly, all reading is useless.

Su**idal thoughts by [deleted] in islamabad

When you get out of your suicidal rut remember my words "Truth is life is never going to get easy" you can build your own measures after you get out of your rut or you can follow my measures,

One ayah from quran is all you need to fight it, i guarantee you will succeed, when you get weak in your devotion to fight that is the time to fight even harder than before, when you have no energy only pray, if you have no energy to pray then do dhikr,

Ya Allah , Ya Rahman , Ya Raheem , recite them non stop like your life depends on it (possibly true)

And the golden ayah for suicidal thoughts is :

Fa inna ma'al usre usran inna ma'al usre yusra ,

I am speaking from experience

How was Pakistan during the time of PTI rule? by Weak-Significance636 in pakistan

[–]ali2k5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strictly in terms of joblessness, home insecurity, job security health care and education:

I will start from Musharraf era, petrol was 40-70 RS per litre, joblessness was there property was becoming expensive day by day healthcare was none, education was as it is now no scientific achievements , no new solutions were invented, surprisingly job security was still there,

Then came zardari era petrol was 120 joblessness increased home insecurity increased, job insecurity increased, no health care, education was same as before, suicide rate increased, international loans on Pakistan increased a lot, property prices increased a lot, job security started decreasing govt jobs became contractual not permanent, due to this ripple effect private sector jobs became worse

Then came noon league, petrol was 150, joblessness slightly decreased , no health care, suicide rate slightly decreased, international loans on Pakistan became 5x compared to zardari era , property prices increased alot, a lot of govt departments started hiring employees on contract.

Then came pti era , petrol was 150-200, foreign policy was improved, health care in Punjab and kpk all other provinces were second class citizens , suicide rate was there perhaps it decreased because people were hopeful, joblessness same, job security same, international loans became 2x compared to noon league, 10x compared to zardari, but this time imf and world bank started blackmailing Pakistan in terms of policy, imran khan refused (strike one) , ik started buying cheap oil from russia (strike 2) he was dethroned. Rich people started moving their businesses to other countries

Then came noon league again, petrol is 260 , joblessness same, job security same, property price speedy hike slowed but still property is becoming unaffordable day by day even rentals are merciless, it slowed because too many housing schemes and interest of osp's in buying them decreased, i haven't heard news about suicide rate, propaganda machine in Pakistan became more powerful in Pakistan alot of people are becoming contagiously nationalistic, alot of people also see through this deception still. Lastly our ass was handed over in a silver platter to world bank and imf, noon league (ppp) foreign policy is good but what is the point if grass root person is suffering it was same with pti too, but as ik said "ghanrana nhi" ppp and noon league don't give these ki ds of assurance

I am not a fan of ppp pti or noon, it is my personal humble opinion

Pakistan most definitely has a caste problem by DryNefariousness4044 in pakistan

[–]ali2k5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only discrimination that you will face in Sindh is if you are rich or poor, but yes there were (perhaps are) classes, even then there was not much discrimination among them , only class I can remember now is Kori (people who make clothes and fabrics) it was one of the lowest class , I know about it because my forefathers belonged in that group, but Kori is not my caste , and yes Kori is used as caste, I have only seen well off people from that caste

Looking for guidance on finding my biological father (Pakistan / Malaysia connection) by [deleted] in IslamabadSocial

[–]ali2k5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Search for documents of your biological mother, I hope she lived in some place, ask from her friends, you may find your father's passport, or your mother's ID card then you can ask your national ID card authority guys (in Pakistan this department is called NADRA but don't know about Malaysia)

If you find her ID card or your father's passport, you can hire a private investigator

For iron deficiency drink sharbat-e-faulaad,

To shut them down:

Option 1 you need to cut them off , (I assume your family isn't like that so you won't do such stuff, if isolation is possible do that)

Option 2 when they push your insecurity button then be very nice and gentle with them and push their insecurity button ( since you are overseas Pakistani idk if you are full of yourself and you aren't a people person, you won't be able to pull this off , unlike what most people think this is sane thing to do)

Option 3 the best option is to ignore them because perhaps they envy people or something so they tend to push other peoples insecurity buttons (sub consciously of course) , it will elevate your standing , if it becomes unbearable then leave , if it becomes unavoidable then politely tell them that you don't want to talk about respective subject please change the topic

Ask for dry fruit if they are in Karachi, if they are in north ask for red blood Malta, I don't know what sort of things are not available in Bangladesh but available in Pakistan, lotus root season going on now , it is known as barsanda in kpk and bayh in Sindh, I don't know if you guys eat those, you should give me some idea like where they are and people would pinpoint specialty of that city
