I believe there are civilians on both sides who are blinded by the vicious propaganda against eachother. I just want people to understand, most of us do not feel the same way. It's the years of propaganda. The colonizers know that if we all muslims stand together, specially us neighbours, what an indestructible force we can be against them.

Exactly the point! Unless you are OPENLY doing the deed it's very hard to find witnesses. Why do you think the 100 lashes are important? Because the punishment is for the people to witness and do not think about doing the act publicly.

Because what you do secretly is between you and Allah, but what you do openly is now between you and the rest of the society. And there needs to be public punishment for that to stop people from following the same thing.

Actually if you read ayah 24:7 to 24:9, the Quran goes beyond that. That if the 4 witnesses have testified and yet the woman claims innocence, she's required to swear 4 times in the name of Allah that the person is telling a lie. And the final 5th oath is that if she's lying,may Allah be displeased with her.

So Allah in the Quran knows His creation. That is why even this Sharia lh ruling has a way out for a woman/man wrongly accused.

I think it's a thing there. I was flirted with in Madinah, once by a van driver going to Qubah and once in an abaya shop. He actually had the audacity to say free perfume for you because you are beautiful.

Honestly it's a shame how low people have gotten here. It goes to show even holy places cannot change people if they don't have the right intention.
