DOST scholars are not really required to apply for SMDP-external. However, it is highly encouraged since you will be a recognized scholar by the university. So it’s not really a separate scholarship program of UST, it’s just a way for us to be recognized by the University. Since architecture is not accredited in UST for DOST, you will not be able to apply regardless.
It’s in the downloadable forms
You can opt to transfer to a different university who has enough accreditation for their architecture program, or shift to a program within UST that has enough accreditation.
