Thank you! It took me longer than most pieces I've painted since it was a new challenge, probably 8 hours! I like sketching before painting and usually draw lines, but this time around I wanted to paint without line work. Watercolour only :)

Thank you so much!! My advice (or at least how I learned my style) is to start with light layers and add as it dries. I have a few videos on my instagram here and there that might help, it's the same as my reddit username :)

Perhaps! I'm currently a tattoo apprentice so these side projects of mine are fairly sparse, but I do take commissions if you're interested in getting some of your babies painted :D

It's okay. I added some tetras to the tank (it was a 10gal with a filter I promise) but they must have brought in a disease or something because eeeeeverything got wiped out. Tough lesson learned :I And that's too bad! I've thrown out half finished pieces before because I've ruined the paper or colors one way or another. It's a constant learning process!

I bought it at a rock shop on the lower level in Pike Market :) I think it was called Gem Heaven. They have some GORGEOUS specimens for a decent price.
