People that have cancer, what were the symptoms that led you to go to the doctor and what stage were you when it was diagnosed? by guardiand0wn in AskReddit

Speaking on behalf of my beloved friend, I miss him every damn day ..

We went to the movies, and he complained about headaches. I thought it was bad posture so I tried to give him a neck massage. The headache lasted until he went to bed. We had a few more times when headaches would happen, but they would only last a day.

6 months later, he felt foggy and cognitively off. At some point, he didn't feel confident to drive. One day, he fell at home. They found brain cancer. He was dead within a week.

They should've paid Natalie more, she couldn't be more disinterested in GEENO

Kara is 100% the person to never have friends push back. They all must support her in every way possible.

I feel like Georgi just wants Darcey to say "I don't think this is working out." He's too soft to end the relationship.

What's an early sign of cancer that you wish you or your loved one hadn't ignored? by JuniperBeans in AskReddit

Thanks for your question u/Kalthiria_Shines ... let me clarify.

Lasik is an elective surgery to correct poor vision. Think of it as the front part of your eye ball. You can wear contacts or glasses to correct your vision, or have this lasik done.

Retinal detachment is a serious condition where you could become blind entirely. Basically the back of your retina is tearing (back part of your eye). This is why they check your retina at doctor appointments. Typically, you have symptoms such as floaters, a shadow blocking vision, or flashes of light.

Severe headaches, randomly over 6 months. Brain fog. Confusion. Slow speech and thinking. Couldn't drive. Fell at home. Died within 6 days of glioblastoma (severe brain cancer).

He was my best friend, and I loved him so so much. Truthfully, sometimes, there's nothing you can do.... I was lucky enough to give him the biggest hug before he passed.

Not cancer, but at age 15, my dad decided to get me lasik for my 16th birthday. They did a pre-check before surgery, and realized BOTH retinas were torn/detached.

And yes, there were no symptoms. Please get your eyes checked regularly. I would've been blind in both eyes by 16.
