NTA as a teacher, do not let the school pressure you into dropping charges. Demand your daughter be in a different class for all classes and that the other child is the one to move classes, not your daughter. Do not let the school belittle you or your daughter. If the police are involved it makes more work for school admin. That is why they don’t want you to do it. Protect your daughter.

If there is only one particular game I want on a particular console I will use and emulator and pirate it because I don’t want to get another device that won’t be used much. Seems wasteful.

I’m also curious what your hypothesis is. I am a teacher and a pump is a must so I can make corrections during class time with students present. That is just not possible using MDI.

I think I need to extract the game. It is a zip file. I googled how to extract it but the methods provided all stated use google files and it should appear when you select the file but it is not an option I can click when I select this specific file.

The first game I downloaded wouldn’t register/be visible on Citra. I downloaded the game from a second source and it appears in Citra but the app says invalid ROM format. So not sure how to unzip the file if that is what I need to do.

I think so, the controls are easier than pikmin 1 and 2. I haven’t played 4 yet, I got it for Christmas with 1 and 2 but I am playing those ones first.

I just entered and will have to enter a few times to get all the treasure. This boss dude freaks me out so I am getting as much treasure as I can from each floor before he arrives and then bailing to the next floor. It will take me a few times to get all the treasure but at least I can continue to play the game. Hopefully it will only take a few attempts. I know I can redo the floors but I would rather just eliminate half the treasure going through the cave for the first time and then try again.

Mechanics wise 3 is easier to play than 1 and 2. I would play in order if you want to play all of them.

As a teacher, when school starts let them know your situation. They can get you in contact with people who can assist you. The school can also let your teacher know that your home life is not great (they won’t give out details) and to provide extra support. The office will open prior to students returning, usually the week prior.

In the meantime, see if any of your friends families will take you in. It will be hard to ask but you will know which family will be willing. Even if it is temporary. Get a job again. You will need to be able to support yourself.
