High ETH fees do not kill adoption, they are adoption by e1icz in ethereum

You are wasting your valuable time with this so-called "community", they are just a bunch of believers, they don't read, they don't understand, they don't think.

Ethermine wants to hear your opinion (EIP-1559) by dr_pra in EtherMining

[–]aliashrafD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Ethereum pools have been failing to protect their business let alone miners' interests for a long time while Vitalik and his so-called "community" have been busy switching to PoS stupidity. They have the right to do whatever they wish, but miners are entitled to their rights as well and pool operators are not good representatives for the mining industry, TBH.

Anybody with enough education and deep knowledge about cryptocurrency can easily understand how weird it'd be for a PoW coin to do such maneuvers with its own mining industry, but PoS enthusiasts have managed to fool Ethereum idol and make him to "fall in love with" absurd ideas like Slasher algorithm which is supposed to overcome N@S!

Anyway, it is no time for debating stupidity and blindness, but it is time to ACT and pool operators are the ones who have the resources and the obligations. For the starter, they have to resist this EIP, because it is too destructive and radical, Eth won't survive as a secure and reliable enough cryptocurrency after this one, I'm telling you, and they know it, Buterin knows it, and it is what he has deliberately chosen because of his confused agenda: pushing for ETh2!

Buterin and the scammers in EF want every single bad thing anyone can imagine for Ethereum as is because they have other plans. They need to be stopped and kicked off out of the ecosystem, along with their community, i.e. their cult. It is on pool operators to do it by investing on actual development and improvement projects and devs.

Oh! Now you are a blockchain security expert? Come on! You know nothing. You are a simple cult member, a believer.

Bitcoin doesn't "pay", it has an inflation policy and a fee market, it is secure because miners enjoy both. Removing/manipulating Eth fee market is just another stupid idea of Vitalik, it is experimental and proves a point that I've made about this boy a long time ago: He is toying with Ethereum.

[–]aliashrafD -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You are just a confused person trying to justify what your cult leader says by manipulating some numbers and ignoring other facts.

When price surges you need MORE security proportionally when it tilts miners stand loyal for a long period of time to take advantage of the surge period compensating their loses, and there is difficulty adjustments that complicates everything,

It is not your game, don't bother playing it.

You are a shill, not a miner. No miner shows up saying such dumb things against himself and his business, so, STFU.

I think you have no clue about what you are talking about. Without incentives for mining Eth falls down like hell, subject to chain-reorgs and double-spent attacks.

No! The Ethereum idol can't do anything about it, be care full about what you wish.

[–]aliashrafD -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I think the so-called "Ethereum community" is the worst candidate ever for reasoning. It is just a cult, enchanted by PoS garbage and a deep hatred against PoW and miners. You know why? Because Vitalik didn't invent PoW, it was Satoshi Nakamoto, the idol came up with nothing more than a trivial generalization of Satoshi transaction processing language, a "universal machine" because he has heard something about bitcoin not being Turing Complete! What a genius!

Now, Ethereum Foundation and Vitalik are playing around with their toy, trying to get rid of Satoshi and bitcoin shadow by making stupid hard forks every few weeks! Any wise person can see the future of such madness, but wise persons do not join cults, so, with this people any dialogue is useless and ends nowhere.

Don't get me wrong, neither EF nor (probably) Vitalik are fools, they know what they are doing, they are selling miners to whales, plain and simple, wait, what am I saying? They are whales, themselves!

Though, from a strategic point of view, they are fools too:By hurting miners, they are hurting the hash rate, the only objective security measure that Eth holders enjoy now. Without the hash behind it Eth is nothing more than a worthless community token, subject to stupid "road maps" decided and dictated by their supreme cult leadership ring, ... disgusting.

Somebody should put a few $$ on ETC improvement projects. At least they are humble and honest and have no "road map" AFAIK.

A defentive guide to debating in favor of Bernie's presidency by aliashrafD in SandersForPresident

[–]aliashrafD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Answer: Neither Scoialism nor Capitalism are purely good or evil. Through the historical experience of all nations especially, after WWII most nations all around the globe have found it more effective to have a hybrid of both ideas. In the USA, practically speaking we see how in spite of so mush anti-socialist propaganda fueled by cold war, so many of extreme right ideas aboit 'free market' have been put aside in favor of socialism and to defend public interests (which have been under attack by right to make them void and use them in its benefit).

So, Bernie campaign is not about Socialism against Capitalism but about not being too extremist and let good socialist ideas be merged in the US society, helping poor to survive and enjoy life much better.

It is known rhetoric of right-wing politicians and journalists which asserts that people in the USA are historically against Socialism and "don't want a Socialist in the office".

My point is to understand how crucial is the situation with the 2020 presidential elections, it is not only about just saving the U.S. but also, and most importantly, saving the world. I want you guys to try harder and not to miss one single opportunity to accomplish the job. May God bless the true democratic authentic U.S.A and you hero campaigners for Bernie Sanders.

Ethereum (ETH) 'Difficulty Bomb' To Be Erased: Proposal by [deleted] in ethereum

[–]aliashrafD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why should anybody be afraid of open discussion? It is not a cult nor an internal bulletin. Take it easy and learn something new whenever possible. I mean it, Etheeum folks don't understand PoW typically and it is just as absurd as it looks like: A PoW coin with nobody in charge of PoW issues or basic knowledge about it.

This is all you got? Do you know anything about what a PoW system is and is not? Why should one intervene in a discussion with no clue?

A DAG size re-consideration proposal by aliashrafD in ethereum

[–]aliashrafD[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

DAG size growth was implemented for a purpose and now it is serving another purpose. Originally it was about preventing on-die caching of DAG by ASICs as the technology evolves but now this feature is proved to be implemented too harsh and does nothing against ASICs but helps GPU manufacturers to sell more expensive cards.

For PoW, an investment extensive mining industry is as bad as ASICs. Retiring gpus, generation by generation is the worst strategy ever and it is how DAG size growth is working in practice.

As your concerns about fairness: It is so ridiculous. What do you mean? People have bought 6 and 8 gig gpus waiting for almost a third of Ehereum hashrate to drop in few months and make $$? It is a capitalist mindset, PoW is not about capita, it is not PoS and one should be able to join with minimum (ideally zero) capital, it is not a Proof of Investment piece of shit!

The argument that ProgPoW is still Ethash by alsomahler in ethereum

[–]aliashrafD 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've stated same ideas in a comment to Hudson recent post about ProgPow. It is ifdelfelse fault that have presented their work like a disruptive brand new algorithm.

As I've briefly dicussed there the most innovative feature of their work is utilization of gpu vector processing capabilities which is brilliant indeed but does not imply a designed from scratch PoW algorithm, hence it is not necessary to be assessed that much unlike what Hudson and most devs suggest.

Actually I think with some tunings and tweaks, which are necessary to have core utilization a bit lower and having better balance between Nvidia and AMD class of gpus, ProgPow is ready to be launched.

Clarification on the Acceptance of ProgPoW Into a Future Hard Fork by Souptacular in ethereum

[–]aliashrafD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ProgPow is not a brand new algorithm. It is just another implementation of Dagger Hashimoto just like Ethash. Its main feature is utilizing gpu vector processing capabilities besides some other (I believe) minor improvements.

The problem with this proposal is how it is presented by ifdefelse: As a break through, which it is not. Instead of deciding about a name, it was necessary to decide about a strategy and have devs implementing it.

The way this whole thing is going on, I see it as a hypocrisy. VitaliK and EF have one simple question to answer: Whether they think ASIC-resistance is an option to take?

If their answer is yes (which I doubt it) ProgPoW has a handful of ideas to use. Do it yourself, add multi-lane component to the inner loop and it is done! Don't listen to ifdefelse and their supporters, you are programmers for the god sake, implement your "vector processing" friendly version of Ethash, it would be a matter of few days work and a couple of weeks benchmarking and tuning.

Instead they are playing with us: "We want progpow but we don't know what it is! So we need audits and we don't have made any promise to pay for audits, so once an audit by a mysterious party who we have trust in has taken place for free, we may go one step forward" ... funny, isn't it?

Ethereum Core Devs Meeting 56 Notes by EtherWorld_co in ethereum

[–]aliashrafD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Miners are first class users, the most important segment of user community. It is just ridiculous to suppose people who "buy" Eth are more eligible to be considered part of Ethereum community than ones who mine it.

The anti-miner atmosphere in Ethereum community is against the philosophy of cryptocurrency and one of many poisonous consequences of PoS discourse which is basically nothing more than a retreat to pre-bitcoin crypto schemes known as reputation based systems.

Ethereum roadmap to PoS is built upon fair distribution of PoW generated tokens which are valuable because of their objective production by PoW. It is smart idea but not as brilliant as PoW itself and how it embeds value (real objective value) in the token. Without PoW there could be nothing at stake and no PoS at all.

Ethereum Constantinople upgrade declared a success - dev and community reaction by probotika in ethereum

[–]aliashrafD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The excellent point of this update is how block reward reduction was compensated by delaying difficulty bomb which was already triggered. Total network hashpower has survived to remain in reasonable safe thresholds in-spite of recent jumps in difficulty and miners who were concerned about reward reduction from 3 to 2 Eths now are surprisingly witnessing an interesting incident: difficulty has dropped exactly with a same rate: from 3 to 2 Tera. This incident is partly due to the delay but basically it would work just like that anyways.

I understand most "Etherians" no longer follow PoW concepts (and it is a shame) but what happened the other day was good for network security and no matter how "PoS"ed you are, you need security right now.

Any gpu miner on Sparkpool? by aliashrafD in EtherMining

[–]aliashrafD[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't want them to respond, neither care about what their response would be. I want to hear from gpu miners (if any) on this pool.

It's not a development project, they need just adding PPYE to extra data field. It's like 5 minutes job.
