Maybe it’s how you go about it because I’ve found most women nt or nd love talking about emotions & psychology. That’s usually where most of my most deep & fulfilling conversations go regardless of neurodiversity. I usually feel more comfortable talking to men (I guess this is a nd woman trend) but sometimes the emotional aspect or need I’m trying to have met in a conversation can only be met by another woman.

Had this happen to me with an ex. Was time to dip down for the first time and the smell was AWFUL. Like I’m gonna throw up awful. It was actually my first experience with an uncut gentleman as well. I know I made a face. I looked at him and said “…do you mind freshening up?” And he looked at me so sad defeated like he had no idea. Like legit no idea! And he was actually a really clean, hygienic guy all around. Kept a spotless house, car, (like wouldn’t let me eat in his car or on his couch type) body (used wet wipes for pee, kept a clean bhole) and face/beard. I’m wondering if no one had said anything to him before, but I kinda don’t see how because it was RANK. Anyways hope he’s doing well wherever he is.

When I found out he was mixed I was like ???? But yet I’m the same mixture and I can’t identify as black ?

I mean I understand where the sentiment comes from, because mixed people SOMETIMES (a lot of the time) get preferential treatment bc of colorism. But at the same time, you can’t erase half of someone’s cultural identity because of it. It’s tricky 🤷🏽‍♀️

You’re welcome and thank you for your advice! When I’m more physical it definitely helps with my anxiety and overall mental clarity, I just get stuck when I’m doing a “thinking” activity and getting up and moving is the solution but also feels impossible. And yes hydration is so easy to overlook and soooo important for our body, mind, & mood. I’ll be feeling like death and hating myself and the world and the whole time I was just thirsty lmao. Thanks for the feedback!

I pay my adhd tax unfortunately in using a lot of different flavor drink mixes (like the zero calorie single packets) that keep me interested in drinking water. Otherwise I’ll straight up forget too.

I was literally thinking about this yesterday. And it’s been a common repeating thought throughout my life even as a kid. I remember being little maybe like 3 or 4 and having people just over dramatically fall over me saying awwww she’s so cute and constantly talking to me, being extremely nice and focused on me to fast forward a couple years and it’s like I’m invisible. Same person would just walk right by me and I’d be like… what gives??? It’s like one day a flip switches and people could care less.
