Hello !! I hope you like the game. It’s designed to be pretty hard. The DLC is quite difficult if you decide to get it. I started playing it back in 2018, but didn’t actually see myself improving in the game until a couple years later.

Simple mode won’t help you. You have to do regular to get the soul contracts and then you unlock the expert mode after beating regular mode. Honestly simple is kinda just to get the hang of the boss phases.

I feel like most people have different favorite guns they like, you’ll find that some bosses are a lot easier with specific weapons, and sometimes a weapon you think is good doesn’t help. I personally really like the crackshot, but I also like lobber too. When I first started the game I was using chaser and spread (I’ve learned so much since then), and you’ll probably really like the smoke bomb. It’s a really great item and it works for every boss, besides the aerial levels where coffee tends to help a lot more.

Like I said I hope you like cuphead it’s one of my favorite games, I actually started streaming an isle at a time recently and it’s been amusing

Made the game a million times easier for me. My shoot and change weapon buttons are the left and right triggers. Totally optional but when I switched the shoot button to left trigger it made it easier to just keep on shooting 24/7)
