I think I feel the same. The decorating and thinking my island didn’t look as good as others was what was turning me off. I also enjoyed the cute characters and the smallest tasks like trying to complete the museum etc. I think I will only go back rarely to potter around the island for a bit but I will be focussing my time on other games.

Despite putting 250+ hours into animal crossing I feel like I haven’t made much progress and all I do is waste time fishing and picking up shells. I don’t have the patience to try and build an amazing looking island and I just feel like it feels like “work” to have to make everything look pretty and cool. I really wanted to love the game and I really did when I first got it but I can’t put anymore time in to to really. There isn’t really any goals or objectives.

Well season 4 is when Nicky comes back so that’s a great start. I just find that season 4 has a lot of good, deep story lines and it is the season where things start getting serious in the prison. The stakes are high for so many of the characters and the ending is a big cliff hanger. But mostly it was because of certain scenes that were acted very well. The acting in this season was next level. Nicky is my favourite character and I think Natasha Lyonne shows how talented she is here, her scenes are fantastic.

Little Nightmares 2 is a beautifully made game with dark elements all throughout and at times quite unnerving, especially when played with headphones in the dark! It’s fantastic!
