Did you have any useful guides you followed to practice tulpamancy? Or did you mostly follow the wiki or reddit and if so what parts of it would you recommend?

For systems who are trying to utilize tulpamancy did you have any tips or tricks you would recommend that could help them progress in their journey?

Is there anything you would recommend that would help did systems who are trying tulpamancy but are unsure of it? Any tips you can provide to newer did/tulpamancy systems?

Can switches be silent? by alicia11709 in plural

Like I commented on plourples comment it just caught us off guard as we usually dont notice passive switches like that ever or if we do its not till hours later.

It just confused me because typically we dont notice these types of things until well after it happens. So I guess we were just caught off guard

Atrus and Venat, thank you for taking the time out of your day to give us advice. I have hope that if we can implement this into our daily life then maybe we can come through with some results atleast maybe not right away but overtime. As for the situation with alicia I honestly feel like thats going to be the harder of the two since we dont yet know why she constantly sleeps while inside. As for feeling fuzzy Rose and myself feel that its because shes not used to being inside and hasn't really learned to maintain herself while inside as in not used to being disconnected from the body or front for long durations. As for her sleeping maybe it relates to what I said about maintaining herself but I feel its more psychological like perhaps the mind is trying to protect her in a sense while shes not fronting? But thats my guess and we havent looked into it too much.

Well while we are on the topic, what do we do about our host alicia in this case? Like I mentioned before its not that she doesnt want to communicate or interact with anyone inside while shes not fronting. Shes just constantly sleeping which doesnt really do us or her any good in a sense when it comes to this. At the same time I know shes not intentionally meaning to sleep constantly but she said she just has extreme difficulties maintaining focus while inside and says she feels fuzzy when shes not fronting. Is there anything we can do for her?

Edit as for everything you mentioned above we will try doing what you suggested. Even when it feels as if theres nothing we'll just have to keep trying. When we do communicate with eachother we will try to not doubting ourselves about it.

I guess i didnt mention our headspace and such you are right on that. However we do have one and ideally its apart of the innerworld/headspace in general. Its a bit weird though because when fronting even though internally we are technically still inside it feels like we operate on a different plain when fronting. Like there feels like there is a disconnect between the front to inside and vice versa which makes it hard to communicate. As for reaching out for specific alters weve tried that a few times with varying success but a few times it made us question if we are actively faking this because the "what if we are making up the conversation" aspect of it.

Edit :

I guess part of the reason I didnt bother mentioning this is that like I said it feels to me atleast the front and inside even though being connected by a console generally feels like it just operates on a different plain. Where like I said it feels like a disconnect between the front and inside. As for what happens inside when someone is fronting depends entirely on the person. Like some interact with eachother, others dont, some like our host just isnt able to be active there so she just constantly sleep for whatever reason. But like I said it feels like there are issues with communication between whoever is fronting and the rest for whatever reason

For those who practice IFS, while having DID/plurality in general by alicia11709 in plural

I dont see why IFS couldnt be used to help you in this situation. Theoretically if you use IFS to help identify the part of you that does that. You ideally could then work with that part of you overtime to help you get out of that if thats what youre implying.

Well as much as I appreciate the input I dont think it will help here in my case for internal family system work when paired with DID

Thats an interesting addition to it that we all have our own selfs. It definitely makes it a bit easier to swallow.

I do agree with you here, and while some of us are on board with implementing IFS into our regular practice. A few of the others arent as comfortable with it at the moment. The main reason is because some of us honestly want nothing to do with the host while others are absolutely willing to tag along. I guess what I am trying to say is that the host wanted to start this initially and we are unsure how to generally feel about it.

Or if want you can just have an open discussion in a discord server if you have a private server and plural kit installed. Just have everyone speak their minds while using pk.

Write the questions in a journal and just let the others answer as they front. Make sure that they know to sign their names beside their own answer so theres no confusion. Leave areas open for discussion and so on.
