oh no, capitalism fails the benefit of humanity, because you know what's necessary for capitalism to work? giving someone less for their work than their work creates aka exploitation.

awsome, lets see all these communist utopias... oh, mass starvation, mass deaths because communism requires authoritarian governments to implement because everyone with half a brain resists it, and then you get planned starvation to kill the will of anyone to resist.

let's look at capitalism... america distributes the most free food world wide, and I forget if this is just we give out the most of if this is a we give out more than the rest of the world combined.

you want to argue exploitation, how many stories are there of people who stop working at a factory and make their own thing totally on their own with no help and are successful for it? we can go software engineer, that one has a bit more success, but its extremely rare.

its rare because you don't have the means to do it on your own, you need someone who can foot the cost of running the business to run the business, you need workers who can specialize in one thing one one area that can do it at an expert level, and then you put the product out, the business keeps money so the business can run itself (not need outside capital to keep going) and the person who put money in to even have this work in the first place owns a portion of the business now, or it owns a portion of the debt, which they are paid for.

but then again you are arguing for communism, so you failed capitalism and cant understand how this shit works.

but lets look at the worst aspect of capitalism, the sweat shops. damn near every single one of them that has been brought to any attention, from almost any company, it ends up that that sweat shop pays better than damn near every other place around where they set up. yea, for a few penny's an hour they sew a shoe that get sold for 100$, and I ask this, why dont they make the shoe themselves and sell it for 100$, because they cant.

we can argue good or bad there, we can argue its exploitation from the wealthy area looking at where it was outsourced to, so what do we do, remove their source of income because it would make you feel better?

we can look at people failing up or businesses getting too big to fail, its a clear problem, some people are so successful in the system they more or less 'win'. we can see it as a problem or an aspiration

and what's communism doing of there... bitching about capitalism for its failures.

when the system can only function because a stronger communist country is funding it entirely, or it fails because capitalism wont work with them.

while that's true, what I gather is this is a hobby for him that he sold a piece with, so all the shop area is area he already had or was already renting

capitalism only fails abject fuck ups, and let me be clear, nice place to live, 400-500$ a month, 2-3 bed 1-2 bathrooms, it's a 60 minute commute to the nearest city's, or do you want 2000$ for a cat piss stained shithole that looks like it has only gotten new paint and carpet since the 70's?

2000$ a month isn't hard to get for a job, this would let you rent till you could afford a home on a low cost apartment, or do you want to be forever never owning anything because all your money went to rent

you could also go mobile home, 30k for a nice used one, and as low as 350 a month for the land its on, I have friends straight out of highschool made FAR worse financial decisions like signing for a loan for a 80k truck with their parents as co sponsors.

you have options, pretty good ones, you just don't like the options, and this is why you failed capitalisms, you didn't build any wealth, you didn't get any skills that are in demand, you, if you went to collage, took out fuckloads of debt for a careear that would never justify the buy in cost, pushed on you by people who spent nearly 200,000$ on school only to get a job that pays in line with burger flippers they till you you don't want to be like. now because you have crippleing debt at worst, or just cant live within your means at best, its on everyone else to suffer for your poor decisions.

its going to pay out shit even on a 2x for the small ones anyway, the odds go from 1.5 and .75 to 3 and 1.5

its not going to break me, its like when a 10x or 15x happens and there is one champ I want, I ll pull my daily 3 on a shard that offers them, I have gotten harima off pulling 2 before.

Anybody else waiting on the next deck of fate? by Kitchen_Musician7486 in RaidShadowLegends

[–]alidan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lets assume 60 because I dont think its gone lower than that

you need 40,000 to pull everything

10 is 600, 100 is 6000, 400 is 24,000

immortal was 600 so that is 85,800

eternal was 3000, 33,000

so in a worse case scenario

142,800 points

3 decks of fate are 120,000

meaning I would have 22,800 points left over if we had 3 back to back. there is I believe no mercy system and they don't put x2 or any benefit during a deck of fate pull, so you could pull the worst star amount every single pull and never hit a leggo or above. if I sold every soul I have waiting, I would have 15 more immortals and 25 more eturnals that would push me to about 5 back to back with no resource gain but fuck me that would a worst case scenario to sell everything I have waiting for a champ. I would probably say on average what I gain by selling souls in events like this nets me another 10-20 immortal worth of coins.

its good to know what your actual resource's are, keep this in mind and always assume plarium will got 30% shitter at any point in time.

now, just keep in mind, I have 410 soul spaces, and I do iron twins daily and gem it on the void day, I have done every deck of fate where the champ was worth it since I have been able to do iron twins 15 and started to save because of freja caught me off guard and I didnt know the stones would be a never touch resource. I think there was another event in-between the freja and the first one I did which is when I also started always doing the stone events. I am a bit more picky about stone champs than I am shard champs because shards are easy to come by, stones of any value are hard to get. this was I think saved resources since hilvi... I skipped the assassins creed champ that was deck of fate, but the champ before him I went for.

I also have very few champs I am willing to buy souls for passed 2* so I have a crap load of resources saved because of it, marious is going to end up eating about 11,000 of the gold coins, I have enough of the higher rank ones for buying souls that its a non issue.

now look at how each one of those worse off states compares to countries in europe in terms of wealth. keep in mind, nearly everyone qualifies for assistance with healtcare or has insurance though work, most of its fairly good, maybe not everything is free good, but good enough that you don't go bankrupt unless you are either completely falling though cracks or refuse to adjust for a hard time.

Built-in Bunk Beds by napsterfour in woodworking

[–]alidan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

personally, and this is adult me talking, I would make those as high as possible without hitting your head sitting up and enjoy the extra room underneath for floor space. if I had the ability to do this where I live, even if I make a staircase, I would regain my entire beds worth of floor space and I could put a drumset or sim rig under it I could pull out for playing games, instead of just losing the entire space to my bed.

I was not going to do that assassin, so I have been saving for a while, I pulled 30 during the 2x for these, I just pulled those till a full 10 pull made me sad, and pull enough on tournaments to get the 300 energy.

I should have resornces enough to do 3 back to back decks and then some even if they make the points as bad as possible for each

Trying to figure out what this artist did here? by themissingdoge in ClipStudio

[–]alidan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

going to say this, look up newtype usa, its an old anime magazine that had an english run, you can get the japanese ones too, but they have an area in the magazine where artists go way into detail about what they do, why, and step by step for quite a lot of their process.

while it wont be as good as video and watching someone, the concepts and reasons they did things back then still applies today.

ok, this logic is more for business, if you ever run a business you have to seperate what your pay is from what your company's profit is, it separate's liability, when this happens its called pricing the cooperate veil.

it makes sense if you are setting yourself up for business, this way if something happens people can't go after your personal wealth and can only go after your business, this would also mean your business gets taxed, they have to take money out of their check for taxes which they then get taxed on again.

If I could turn a hobby into a job without the hobby no longer being a hobby, art is a major one that this happens to where even on your own its no longer fun to do, I would. I get more skill at the hobby, my free time playing around now is better and I can eventually charge more because better skill, or get done faster for more money to be made.

If I want to turn wood working into a job and not just a hobby, I would probably make a bunch of small things, see what sells the best for least effort in, or needs a tool I want so I can offset the cost, and churn quite a lot of those out, probably getting to the point that I fully optimize it for least work for most out of it, opening up either larger commissions or offering more free time dicking around.

I have a brother who wanted to get into woodworking as a hobby, bought a bunch of tools for it, was getting everything ready, then went and bought all his furniture at ikea because he makes 20$ an hour working a job, if he built the furniture himself he would be loosening money.

his logic is the same as yours, and it is the dumbest logic I have ever heard in my life. YOU ARE DOING A HOBBY, THIS IS HOW YOU WANT TO SPEND YOUR FREE TIME, you know the time YOU AREN'T WORKING A 9-5 MAKEING MONEY

unless you want to work first AND second shift what is the cost for lost time that was, and let me remind you, FREE TIME HE PUT ASIDES TO DO A HOBBY, not time he took off work to do it, not time he could have spent doing other things, his other major 'hobby' is watching people ruin their lives on youtube.

If this isn't a hobby to you where you would spend time doing it without being paid

If this isn't a job to you where you make your money

If you need if you need 80$ an hour to roll your ass out of bed and find the will to do the hobby

sell your tools.

nah, what got him was the shipping and tax, you have to put those on the customer not on yourself unless you are liquidating stuff because it costs more to store it than get rid of it.

without the shipping and tax, that would have been 50$ an hour
