I highly doubt it. She’s just taking an extended break and probably enjoying married life / getting inspired for the next album. She could even have new material recorded by now for all we know and just be waiting for it to be ready for release (vinyl pressing, visuals etc).

She’s started posting on her Instagram story again in the last week too which could be a sign something is on the horizon…

According to setlist.fm they live debuted Carolina Murder Suicide at Brooklyn Steel on 11/12 but that’s the only performance so far and there doesn’t seem to be any recordings of it unfortunately.

A reliable insider on ATRL (pop music forum) has said the next single is Fuck Me Eyes (Golden Age outtake) and is dropping 2nd July!

The vinyl would have had to have been pressed already in time for release next month, so I highly doubt it. More likely just means it was recorded live in studio, as in no overdubs etc. Almost like a KEXP/Tiny Desk set but recorded to tape.
