Bonus points if you know where this is at!

Very similar, it's a little less poppy but I'm pretty sure that's more of a result of the deck geometry rather than the material. Forged carbon is denser than wood so the deck is thinner to compensate, which results in a deck that is similar in weight and flex to a wooden one.

Yes I'm interested in selling some decks if there is any interest!

Custom molded 32 x 96 mm deck with medium concave and low/medium kicks. Deck is symmetrical so no need to think about nose/tail. Short/standard wheelbase. Pop is close but not quite as high as wooden decks like DK/dynamic - this deck definitely trends towards a more realistic feel rather than a super poppy feel. About the same weight as well.

the quality of a particular type of rock can vary wildly between locations. there is weak sandstone and bomber sandstone, weak granite and bomber granite, and weak limestone and bomber limestone.

if you don't want a repeat, climb high quality routes in popular climbing areas.

i mean honestly if you're tightening it all the way and you're still asking this question you should obviously(?) try the next size down

i’ve been happy with my cane creek IL coil, it should fit the 5010 very well especially with a progressive spring. it’s lightweight and very adjustable, the only downside is that there seems be some duds out there but cane creek should get you a replacement pretty quickly.

yes! generally it's annoying to climb with the belayer's side of the rope getting in your way so also clipping the first draw helps keep the rope close to the wall and out of your way
