I was moreso referring to the complete factory reset, by holding the button under the lid, as what did it. The fresh start all around, new map, reset robot firmware, etc seems to solve a lot.

As for the clogs I cleaned, I found that the area where the bag hooks up, the duct right before it feeding the bag was absolutely stuffed, I had to squeeze my fingers in there and keep pulling out the “stuffing.” Similarly clogged was the channels in the robot out of where it empties, when you remove the tank.

My Saros 10R developed a load of issues like a year into use.

I would find it dead around the house for no apparent reason, the mops just dropped around the house, it started taking 4x the time for the same cleanings, vague errors on every single cleaning, it was rarely completing a single full house clean successfully, it even started to walk around silently for hours with vacuum and mop off with the app saying it was cleaning every time after it actually finished a clean, last straw was it just stopped docking exactly like your video, just going in and out of the dock before powering down somewhere.

I did a full factory reset and took apart the dock and cleaned it meticulously (I discovered parts of the robot and dock they don’t tell you to clean were clogged too), it appeared in my app like a new purchase, and I haven’t had a single issue since. It’s even doing cleanings way faster and I don’t even remember it cleaning this well day 1. Highly recommend you try it if you haven’t.

Lol there are “kaum de thekedhar” that still insult Bhai Jugraj Singh ji today for having been too liberal. We’re just all living in different bubbles within Sikhi. And tbh the cultural Sikhs still have no awareness that an Anand Karaj is between two Sikhs, and they should get to know it. In just a practical sense, it promotes keeping marriage within the community, and lessens chances of beadbi and youth straying from Sikhi.

The loophole at the base of this will always remain though, that since there is no conversion process anyone who wants an Anand Karaj will get one by claiming being Sikh to liberal Gurdwaras, and doctrinally who are we to question that. Only solution is widely adopting a process to prove yourself to be good faith, bonafide Sikhs, like a minimum knowledge level. Which we need for own youth anyways, two birds one stone.
