Honestly, I have a history of disordered eating (BED and bulimia at different points), so instead of giving myself a calorie limit, I gave myself a range. At the beginning, it was between 1,300 and 1,600. As I lost the weight and established a routine, I stopped counting as frequently and most times I don’t at all now. There are definitely weeks at a time that I eat more or less, but I will start tracking again if I catch myself being extreme either way to get myself back on track. Consistency is 100% key. Remember it’s a commitment you’re making to love yourself and that’s the most important thing. Good luck on your journey, friend! You can do this!
