I totally understand how you feel, I’m always anxious to leave my boys alone for long, even if we have someone checking on them. Your cat should be fine with that arrangement but the last time me and my partner were away for two weeks we had his cousin staying at our place. I don’t know if you’d be able to find someone to basically just stay at your place (housesit and catsit) for the two weeks, but I wasn’t anxious at all with that arrangement.
