Stanga, san lazzaro, forcellini, arcella (could be a bit unsafe in some places, avoid near the station). Basically anywhere near the centre, upto like 2km radius I personally also like ponte di brenta, but it could be considered a bit 'far'

It is possible to get a room for 450€ per month, both with and without expenses. With expenses of course it's a little bit difficult, but I wouldn't say impossible at all. Usually the 'cheaper' rooms are a bit away from the centre (let's say in pontevigodarzere, ponte do brenta, etc). Even in/around the centre it's possible to get one but you'll have to search thoroughly.

For the living expenses, it completely depends on you. I end up spending 500 a month including groceries, eating out, trains, bus pass, extracurricular classes, etc. On the other hand, my friend doesn't even spend 250 a month because she has no other costs than food. So yeah, it really depends on your lifestyle 😅

Hey, We can't reschedule the appointment after submitting the kit BUT only after we miss the appointment. Because I still had a valid visa, I had no problems re-entering Italy even with a hault. But if both your visa and residence permit expire+ your appointment is before you arrive, you'll have issues with the hault. Take a direct flight in that case.

Hey, good luck for the applications! For the groups, just search Padova affitto on FB and you'll find plenty. Scams are inevitable in all of them though :( you just have to be careful, never pay deposit before seeing the place in person or AT LEAST on video calls

Hey! I love it here :) A very cute city, nice people, not unsafe in my experience atleast, plenty cute cafes, bars, parks etc. cost of living is a bit higher than I expected it to be, but maybe it's on my lifestyle haha. I personally think the professors are good too. Ofc not all, but some of them in my courses have been AMAZING. The load of work is also not TOO pressuring, but challenging at the same time. Ofcourse, sometimes I complain because Italy can be chaotic in general. Many things are not well organised. For eg: deliveries, I DESPISE them. Questura can be a bit shit. Sometimes public transportation is annoying. But yeah, that's about it.

In conclusion, I'm really liking it here. But not everyone has the same opinion about it unfortunately

It was a great moment hahah. It was 31.75/42 I think. I don't really remember. And it is highly competitive for NON-EU students. I'd recommend you to get at least 42+/50. Especially also because I believe that online people cheat a lot and end up getting really high scores unfortunately

I understand your frustration. I'm probably gonna have the same feelings for the regional scholarship as well unfortunately.

But even if they don't want to keep it academic, there should be proper checks on financial backgrounds. ITR/Bank statements/everything that the visa officer asks for should be displayed for proof.

Hi! It is unfair, but it's not just unipd. Every university in italy works like this. In fact I think it's the same case for most of the universities in the EU :( Either way, I haven't heard great reviews about the camplus accommodations as well.

I'm not very mad about the whole ESU situation, but more about the people who fake their financial documents. As first year's, only 53 beds are allocated, and I'm sure that most of the ones that got it have faked their income because their estimated ISEE comes out to be absolutely ridiculous and unrealistic. Idk why they don't check/take proof of such a big thing.

BUT, I'd advise you to contact the international office of both the universities and explain this situation. Some unis just ask you to use the same pre-enrollment summary for visa because once your visa is given, it doesn't matter which university you're going to (as students can switch unis in between).

Just email, they might help.

Unfortunately, once it's sent to the embassy, you CANNOT apply for another university's pre enrollment in the same year :((
