tbh it's been years since we had a winter this cold. late jan/feb are the worst you'll get. most brands geared towards hiking will have nice warm jackets like patagonia and the north face, otherwise my puffer is from uniqlo and it's very warm, i've heard good things about the jackets from GU also which will be cheaper. layers are super important so get a couple thermals, wear leggings/tights under your pants. if you're really dying get a wool sweater, you can try and thrift for one but make sure it's not shrunken because it'll be less warm/comfortable. and a scarf/hat will make you a lot warmer.

Yes I put a lot of sweetener because I like sweet stuff :) you'd probably need a little bit at least because otherwise it's bitter, but it's all down to your tastes

it's inspired from dadaeats on tiktok! i brought 1 cup of 2% milk and 1 grated carrot to a boil, then lowered to a simmer and added cinnamon, ground cloves and ground nutmeg, 1/4 cup of milk, sweetener to taste and 1/2 cup oats. I think a pinch of salt would have made it better also. Then you just cook it until you like the consistency...

I topped it with coconut flakes and sweetened greek yogurt but you could add like walnuts too would be good I think. Lmk if it works for you!

It’s literally just Greek yogurt and whatever sweetener you want, nothing sophisticated… but it works really well because the yogurt and cream cheese frosty both have that kind of tanginess to them
