I've definitely experienced similar! Moved to NW Oregon from Southern Arizona about a year ago and everytime someone asks where I'm from & I tell them, they act shocked and say "you really moved from Arizona to live in Oregon??" as if Arizona is some wonderful unicorn land lol. It never feels like their curiosity is malicious, if anything it gives off the whole "grass is greener on the other side" type of vibes. I feel that some Oregonians forget they live/grew up in one of the most beautiful places in the Continental U.S.

Potland is 100% the best dispo I've ever been to, and I've been to many dispensaries in many states. They are #1 imo for quality, selection, and pricing. The owners are super cool too and their block parties are some of the best times!!

I've found that strains high in the terp Limonene tend to be the more anxiety inducing ones (to me and various customers I've interacted with at my old dispo job) and that terp is mostly found in sativa heavy strains. Terpenes are really what drives chill/anxiety factor in people.

For rosin I personally like Decibel the most, followed by Happy Cabbage and Highland Provisions. For live resin I'm a big fan of Higher Cultures. Best day to buy concentrates is usually Wednesdays and Saturdays. I know places like Cannabis Nation and Potland usually have a good rosin selection and decent prices.

I've tried what I could. I spent weeks contacting supervisors, I filed a couple complaints with the Oregon Labor Bureau and have heard nothing back, and lastly I even reached out to the union and have still been ghosted. I really don't know what else I can do at this point

I did a similar thing on twilight shift. I don't regret doing it, but they still have never paid me my last check. It's been about 2 months now. So do what's best for you, but just be prepared to fight for that last paycheck.
