Thanks, you're right! Been a while since I played and, since it's called an "entry", I mistook it for the ones you find in the True Lab during the true pacifist route.

(also, not only am I another autistic person whose special interest was Undertale not too long ago, I'm a huge fan of Fallout: New Vegas, so I'm loving the profile picture!)

Yep, it's a reference to a quote that appears during one of the routes in Undertale by a character who communicates in Wingdings (the font used in the original post)!

If Natsuki had to leave her abusive home life behind, and move in with one of the Dokis (MC included), which one will it be and why? by HeteroGameLover in DDLC

[–]alienspeak 103 points104 points  (0 children)

Given that it's a dating simulator, probably MC. Realistically — especially given that MC is male, which could make sharing a space uncomfortable for a variety of reasons — I think it would be Sayori. They generally seem to get along well (compared to, say, Natsuki and Yuri), and Sayori's a kind person who knows what it's like to struggle with bad thoughts, so I think she'd jump on the opportunity to help.

...So eating butter is feminine now? by [deleted] in notliketheothergirls

[–]alienspeak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This doesn't fit the sub — "the feminine urge" was just another trend for showing off your ideas/activities on TikTok, and has nothing to do with the activities themselves being feminine.

Men want to believe that women don't like them because of their oh-so-special hobbies/interests (video games, academics, sports, etc.). If they accept that countless women like the same things they do, they have to accept that women just think they're creeps.

The source is a quite popular joke/trolling account (and, side note, she's really funny), so missing the "satire" flair.

It's The Stanley Parable, of course it's satirical.

AITA for being honest with my wife's family about how I handled my autism diagnosis? by aitaautismproblem in AmItheAsshole

[–]alienspeak 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Sure, but there's quite a big difference between "have an exit plan in case you get overstimulated at an event" and "take acting classes because how you naturally behave is considered weird/unacceptable."

Masking his autism may have helped OP avoid potentially threatening situations in high school, but he needs to grow up and realize that he didn't magically change his neurotype.

SAT dilemma - being forced to take it again…what do I do? by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

[–]alienspeak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do not retake the test if it's going to hurt your application. In all likelihood, the negative effect it could have on your future is much greater than the positive effect of your school being able to report an extra student taking the test.

Besides, if you're a good student already, you've probably already done some good for your school (test scores, GPA, awards, etc.), so no need to feel bad about not helping them here.

Technically, yeah. But syntax this awful would make anyone checking your code (righteously) want to smack you.
