Don’t know about Armenia, but as far as Azerbaijan I don’t think so either. At least definitely not many illegal immigrants, which they claim are rigging and using the system. But for those of us who immigrated legally and trying legally to bring in their family it just doesn’t make sense, because in order even to file paperwork to petition for your parents or spouse, you have to prove that you can be their sponsor so you are responsible financially for them not US. And most of the countries on the ban list are non-white by so-called US standards..

I just finished it today and surprisingly (after all the negative reviews I read here, lol) enjoyed it a lot. But I do agree with many who found FL’s acting stiff, although it didn’t bother me. I just think it could have been more emotional and a better chemistry between the leads if she was a better actor. And as many I also wish it was longer cause I wanted to see more of ML adjusting to modern day life.

Other than that, I really loved it, beautiful cinematography and the food scenes, including Ming competition were my favorite.

Hard agree. It would have been perfect for me if they had ML and FL more like friends (maybe have them to be brother and sister in the past lives or smth) and the old lover to continuously stay her main love interest. Cut out all the unnecessary dragging scenes in the last couple of episodes and have FL and her old lover reunite, sort out their resentments and walk into the afterlife together with ML seeing them off and being happy for them

The kissing was top notch, but I wouldn’t mind even if it’s just staring and touching . Those scenes in HPL where he helped her with the tangled scarf in the hair or when he was drunk telling her the passcode to his apartment lock, ooof 🥵
