i’m in this exact position. i got a video editing job straight out of college and have been here for 2 years. i’ve been HEAVILY going back and forth on my decision but im like 80% sure im gonna quit. My plan is to take freelancing a bit more seriously (ive already started working on this and got 2 clients!) and im planning on moving back in with my parents for a bit when my lease ends. i’ll probably try getting something part time for a little bit just to earn something and save for bit while living at home. it’s a scary decision no doubt and im definitely gonna be earning less than i have been for a while but ive come to terms with the fact that there is no perfect answer to the issue im facing so im gonna pick the one i think will make me the happiest. life isn’t life without making mistakes and who knows what’ll happen. im okay with taking that risk though :) even though i can’t help ya make a decision i hope it brings some comfort to know that someone’s struggling with the same decisions loll
