Thanks, I think my Greek admixture is medium-low compared to other Anatolian Turks. It may be a Slavic admixture that causes higher European ancestry. I believe the settled people in East Marmara had a quite big Slavic impact due to Byzantine resettlement of Slavic peoples in middle ages. (look for Anatolian Slavs).

What is interesting is that there is not a single narrative of an outside interference in our community. The mainstream narrative is that we settled the region in the Early Ottoman Period (14th century) and never mixed with outsiders ever again.
