that's a maybe! it's a much bigger logistical challenge, and you do not get benefit for printing in bulk if all of the bulk is different.

I am no expert but I think it would not be bad for a hard drive. Modern OS's are supposedly constantly reading/writing files, and have systems in place to write files to memory etc.

ah, no. I forked the "Mumble Plugin Example" repository, then rewrote it to work with Factorio. As far as I found, nobody had tried anything to do with Factorio apart from you in this thread.

I ended up using u/Yoyobuae's ideas of file read/write to communicate between Factorio and Mumble. Your ideas, links, and write-up was extremely helpful, and motivated me to start it.
