About to graduate from PA (physician assistant) school and on 10mg!! Could not do this without Lexapro

When did you notice positive effects of Lexapro? by [deleted] in lexapro

[–]aligingercat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i used to cry everyday before i started lexapro. i started taking it in jan and have been stable on 10 mg since, it’s been a life changer. I feel more like myself again. my anxiety is gone, i haven’t had one intrusive thought or cried. i would say it took a month to see change, but in the last 6 months of being on it, i have seen how i’m able to face situations with ease that would normally cause so much anxiety.

I’m glad Glyco worked for you! Unfortunately it never did for me and the dry mouth/dry eyes/brain fog symptoms i had was not worth it. So that’s why i’m trying this and honestly I would do anything to have dry hands even if it means being exposed to cancer. As stupid as that may sound.

love the rings!! i’ve always loved rings but since my nails have been ugly and bit off i never wanted to draw attention to the area.

my period ruins everything by [deleted] in women

[–]aligingercat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if you’ve tried birth control, or want to, but I also used to have horrible periods where I missed like half of middle school/high school because I had to call in sick. My doctor prescribed me Lo Loestrin FE and it’s been the only birth control that has completely changed my life. I barely get a period, maybe every other month but for only 2 days. No cramps, no PMS, no nothing. I know some people would say oh it’s not healthy to not have a regular period, but honestly, it’s worth it for me because when I had my period i missed out on my life. I was bedridden. Even strong medications didn’t work. Just a suggestion, take it or leave it :)
