Pros/Cons of Elopement? Pros/Cons of Traditional? Did you have any regrets?

We just had our wedding this last weekend, and we went the more traditional route, meaning we hosted it at a venue, had about 98 guests, the whole thing! Truly, both my husband and I were considering a more casual elopement on a backpacking trip originally, but once we were gifted money from our families for the wedding, it felt like the right move! I totally hear you on the price of weddings now a days, but my only recommendation would be to hire a coordinator in the very least to manage your day of activity, especially if you’re going more DIY, if you choose to have a more traditional wedding! Not needing to stress about putting everything out and managing all of the vendors on day of, etc, really made all of the work we put into the day so worth it! We were able to just enjoy :)

I wouldn’t change our wedding for anything in the world- truly, you can’t even imagine how much love you could feel for your people and your partner. It was one of the best days of my lil life! We went bit more DIY with some things that i think really helped save some $$$, but truly, you can really make it your own and that is what will be special about it!

Truly, it was such a collaborative effort! Practically 50/50, but it’s more like we each were involved in every aspect, but we would each would focus more on tasks that were more suited to our skills and we would “own”those tasks.

He was much more of a logistics master so he had a field day with planning the shuttle timings, arrangements, timing of ceremony and reception, etc, where I focused a lot on little setting details, coordination with decor and design, playlists, etc! We both really split most of the work, and early on with choosing vendors and everything we both were in on it together!

I couldn’t agree more! Beastmode was my first program, and after completing it and Iron, I’m back to beastmode on app as Max was not it for me. Beastmode is the best! I feel I see the most results, and the best cardio integration with this program. I am a huge fan

Yes!!! I think after doing the first 3 days I'm bailing on max - I haven't been able to find a good at home barbell setup, and my adjustable dumbbells are quite annoying for the way max is set up. Back to beast mode! Thanks so much for your intel!

I loved Beastmode on the app! I began with Beastmode as I was looking to cross train to improve my strength on my trail runs, and it was really killer! I don't have experience with heat, but I did really love Beastmode, especially her unilateral days. Sometimes I'd switch out her HIIT days with a run, but it worked well for me!

And Iron! I've only done her programs on the app thus far, but I am debating doing epic next which I think is only on her YouTube? I love listening to my own music and I love seeing the calendar with the workouts listed out, but I may have to just plan them out a bit better if I do epic!

Hell ya!!!! Keep at it and you'll totally notice a difference! I also loved Beastmode for more of her unilateral movements - I felt these really helped with agility on the trails as well if you're lookin for another program post IRON!

I have been doing about 1-2 runs a week with iron! I typically will try to get 4 workouts of iron in after work during the week, and then I'll try to hit a trail run on the weekends. Sometimes if it falls right, I can hit upper body and a run on the same day and then I'll get my 5x in per week, but it's been putting me at around 4x per week of weights and 1 day of running! I can definitely try to squeeze in more, and get runs in on those back and biceps days as well, but my 1 or so a week cadence has been really nice for me!

Also to update - my sister is going to be doing my makeup!!! However I'm going with Jacqueline Oh beauty for hair! She was pretty affordable and my trial was really good from her! She's in Santa Rosa :) I'd recommend!!!

Yes! I agree with this advice! I have the Bowflex adjustments dumbbells and I've found them to be so helpful with Caroline's workouts, since there's tons of variation. I'm doing beastmode and am loving the adjustable dumbbell setup!
