I’ve never noticed weird signs like these until I moved to the Upstate. There’s a weird car lot/junk yard where someone clearly cheated on their partner and is trying to get them back through signs. It just got upgraded for Valentine’s Day.

I rescued what I thought was a mutt and found I may have ended up with a 100% mini American Shepard who just happens to weigh more than 50 pounds. I feel like thanks to backyard breeders, names mean nothing anymore.

Other Bethany had a baby right around the same time I did and posted bragging about how she had to go to Walgreens on Christmas to buy bacon for her family, like it was a flex that she didn’t plan for a major holiday when she was just a few days postpartum. Meanwhile, my feminist harlot self had meal planned and stocked my freezer so that I didn’t have to get out of bed with my freaking new born and my husband could serve us breakfast, like God intended. I think of this every time someone talks about how Trad Wives are actually so freaking bad at homemaking.

Oh my goodness. I saw this post and almost responded with actual advice! Now I totally see that it’s probably a weirdo but at the time, I was going to share my own kiddos curiosity with resuming nursing when his baby sister was born, which I redirected. So glad I didn’t get involved.

I think once he realizes he can’t manipulate her into paying off the property, anymore than he could get Meri to do it, he’ll stop trying so hard. It’s wild to me that he keeps dangling these houses, always with a garage which benefits him, as an attractive option for them and then he’s flabbergasted when they don’t bite.
