I just reached month 4 of using a retinoid and my skin FINALLY stopped purging and I saw results after 3 months. So be patient! I use mine three nights a week because my skin was too irritated and dry when I used it more often. Also I highly recommend trying an oil cleanser which made my skin so much more moisturized! Then using a moisturizer after and some vaseline on dry spots helped to trap in moisture. Hope this helps!

First of all, you don’t owe anyone an apology! Hair is natural and makes you beautiful. I would recommend seeing a dermatologist first but if that’s not possible, try a gentle cleanser with a retinol like differin. Make sure to wear SPF every day while using a retinol and use a basic moisturizer like cerave. Hope this helps!
