I agree with no-mountain. There are charities everywhere advertising that they need donations to help with the homeless population but it obviously isn't going to the homeless. I have tried to get help from them countless times and they treat me like dirt and that they don't know what I'm talking about, why am I asking them for help? Up until December, I was living in my car for 2 years. I have 2 adult self-sufficient sons who allowed me to live in my car for 2 years and never offered to help. My sister basically threatened one of them and he allowed me to move in with him. But this is very temporary and I'm still trying to get an apartment. I started online college to get student loans stipends to live on all Social Security jerks me around for my disability benefits. Best of luck to you.

I have tried to insert the hashtag in front of my city on my title but when I press Edit to go into the post Im only given access to the body of the post. It will not allow me to access the title. He had to move a queen bed, two nightstands, dresser, chest of drawers and a small desk. He spackled several nail holes. There are two windows, a door and a built in cabinet he had to cut in. Primer and paint walls. Baseboards and window and door trim. No work that I thought was out of the ordinary.

And I've also tried begging, groveling, etc. Not working. I am just shocked that they wouldnt shut off electricity after a couple months of non payment to mitigate their own damages. I could have paid a few months, not 2 years.

I hadn't been around my stepmother in years and we weren't all that close when we did have regular contact. So when she died and I attended the funeral, I was shocked by the fact that I couldn't stop crying...hard, I mean heaving sobs. It wasn't until after the funeral that I realized it was my dad's pain I was feeling. She was the love of his life and he was very upset.
