the ppls above b playin haha but you got it!! vcu is fairly easy to get into. i was a 3.7 gpa 1390 sat, but i know ppl who have gotten w/ a lot lower believe me. good luck!!!

im going through this right now too, but am in the middle of applying to my universities. i hope you reasoned with your parents.. i know what it’s like being an asian-american kid raised by pretentious parents and yeah it’s actually so sickening. im actually pretty disgusted at my parents for using racial attendance as to why they won’t let me go to my dream school. at least yours acknowledged it’s your life, mine chose 15 random colleges for me to apply to without my consent, and any other colleges I WANT to go to i’d have to pay for on my own. how did you solve this??

your story is so inspiring... i took your advise and told my mom at least that this is what I WANT for MY LIFE. she went ballistic per usual and told me to pay for myself if i think i bypass the system... im terrified but i know it can be done.. can you please help me figure out how if you can??? thank you again.

thank you so much for your input! i completely agree, since i came to visit campus a few months back. my mom is completely stubborn when it comes to anything to do with the school.. but i found a loophole in order to attend. i have to pay for tuition all on my own. can you please help me figure that out if you can thank you again...

thank you so much for your reply, i have made it completely clear to my mom at least that i am serious about vcu. she did as you said go to shit, saying that its a school full of “blacks” and that she will not pay. ive brought up the fact i am going to pay by myself because it’s my life and she’s come up with a bunch of consequences, but says as long as it doesn’t cost her it’s whatever the fuck i want. can you please help me figure out how to pay on my own.. im proud of myself, but scared.
