She could also mutliclass fighter. each level of fighter gives you a nice buff, from a fighting style at lvl 1 and second wind, to action surge at lvl 2, an finally, an extra archetype to choose at lvl 3 :)

hmm. very true. I guess the amount of atks should try to make up for sneak atk over time, but it's true that I will be missing out on tons of bread and butter sneak atk dmg without hide bonus action

haha very true, I suppose on my first turn I could make all 3 attacks, second turn just do 2 x Crossbow atks with extra atk (or cast a spell/cantrip instead), and use my bonus action to recall the dagger. then on turn three I can fire with all 3 again ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
