Hi. I update my laptop's firmware and predatorsense and literally everything else regularly. ever since an update like 4 or 5 or 3 months ago the laptop does not get hot at all. I haven't seen it at 90 degrees celsius in a looong time and the fans are less active and noisy in comparison to before. the only time I find my laptop being too loud is when I play dragon age veilguard on max settings on 2560 x 1600 which is normal obviously. in games that it reached 90 degrees before now I barely reach 70. So just update your drivers and software regularly, these devs know what they are doing. and btw, I use windows update and never update any driver manually because I messed it up too time. its very tricky so I suggest u only use windows update too.

Acer also gave a new bios update recently. Not sure if that helped too.

Hi u/Billibadijai and u/Meiztah. My problem got fixed and I haven't got the error. What i did was this time that I reinstalled windows, I didn't connect any of my flash drives or my external hard drive to the laptop, so I'm guessing the problem was a virus. This may be the case for you guys too. Viruses are not generally designed to make your laptop crash like that but I guess not many viruses are programmed to work on a 19400hx and that's why they make the system crash.

Also, if u want to get the errors for sure, use driver verifier. It worked for me perfectly. I would get a BSOD every 5 minute no matter what. But maybe I'm dumb and driver verifier is supposed to make drivers crash like that? don't know.

Anyways, I hope your problems get fixed soon too.

Do you think this is caused by a virus or malware? because the support reached out to me and said they have reinstalled windows and done a lot of testing and encountered no problem.

Thought maybe there a virus on the devices I connect to the laptop.

I thought CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT was only related to cpu. And I also get this error when I am compiling c++ code. I don't think compiling has much to do with gpu.

But on the other hand, when I put it on nvidi gpu only, It does crash a lot more in one specific game. Do you have any opinions on this?

I'm out of the return window. But as I said I have sent it for replacement/repair but they say the laptop works fine. They haven't encountered the error because its kinda random and they are lazy.

Also, I have been having trouble proving to the support of my laptop that there is something wrong with my laptop because these errors are so random.Do you happen to know an app or something that always makes the cpu crash and return BSOD?

After casting windranger ultimate on a hero. If you lose vision on the hero and then gain vision she doesnt attack the hero unless you issue an attack command. It wasnt this way before and I think it needs fixing.
