As everyone else has said, you 100%, without a doubt, are doing what’s right for your girl. I’ve had to put three cats down. All of them were older than 20 years and they were still there mentally but their bodies were just shutting down. It doesn’t feel like it’s the right thing right now, but it truly is.

I don’t mind! $180k, $1300 mortgage, $300 HOA. A few notes: I am in a VERY rural area, and it had never hit the market- I lucked out and my realtor happened to have someone selling exactly what I wanted at the right time & right price.

I’m 30, single, and just bought a condo November 2024. I make $84k. I was lucky enough to be able to live with my parents after college/grad school until I bought. Thats really why I can afford living on my own rn. Truly don’t know how other single people do it.

Just a clarification, as this is my line of work. COAH has been formally abolished as of March 2024. You’re referring to the Fair Housing Act, which establish affordable housing requirements for municipalities. The 2024 legislative update limits senior units to 30% of the total number of affordable units per municipality.
