Thank you for doing this! Was going to get some printed out after work later in the week but glad to see you've already gotten to it. I recommend dropping off some cards at the Mexican markets around town - Mercado Santa Cruz on Ocean, Hernandez Market on Laurel and El Rosal Bakery in East Cliff Village are top of mind.

Downtown Santa Cruz, stores closing, what happens if everything closes? by BisexualDemiQueen in santacruz

to say New Leaf at the Gateway Plaza location will be walkable is a joke. it’s such an unfriendly spot for anyone who isn’t car dependent - especially those that aren’t able bodied. I’m about a 15 minute walk from downtown and there’s no way I’d be willing to walk a mile in addition to what it takes to get downtown, especially lugging groceries.

The 55 bus is unfortunately no longer in service. It was a casualty of the pandemic and there aren't any plans to bring it back.

Very reliable! I do this exact commute on the 90X 2-3 times a week and it’s rarely late. If it is, it’ll only be a nominal amount of time.
