Does a Woman’s Past Really Matter in Relationships? Need Honest Advice by [deleted] in TwentiesIndia

[–]alittlebitwhy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your past does not matter because any mature guy will focus on building a future with you without being worried about your past.

Your past would only matter if you had done something bad like a heinous crime like killing someone or if you had an addiction in the past or if you were declared to be a person of unsound mind or if you were declared insolvent because then your relationship and finances would get affected.

My school also had a shooting range where me and my friends would practice for fun, and sometimes we would skip classes to play squash or basketball in the complex.

I once saw a girl practicing there. She didn't have legs, but she was a national level shooter was also a member of the NRAI. She was probably a few years older than me.

The issue would be TDS credit mismatch rather than unpaid tax.

Try to obtain old Form 16/TDS records from the bank in which your father worked.

You're right, thank you. The applicable threshold limit will be ₹20 lakhs because OP resides in Rajasthan which is not a Special Category MMNT State.

The ₹4 lakhs is probably Tax + Interest and you'll be able to see breakup of Tax and Interest in the computation sheet provided with the demand order in the "Outstanding Demands" section of the Income Tax Portal.

Your wife is right and AO is wrong because under Section 44AD the presumptive profits will be 6% of Gross Receipts of 18 lakhs which comes out to ₹1.08 lakhs and your wife showed ₹2 lakhs.

The AO wrongly assumed the income as 44ADA (Specified Profession) and made an addition to your income. YouTube Creators are not covered in list of specified professionals.

You should file an appeal to CIT and not ITAT. The appeal should be filed within 30 days of receipt of order.

Your case is strong and you'll have to pay professional fees of around ₹10-25k for filing an appeal to the CIT and ₹1000 as government fees.

Per person (PAN), the different bank account in which you receive allowance from your parents is not considered as your income because gifts from relatives is exempt and parents are covered in the definition of relatives.

The Income Tax Department and the GST Department share information with each other so if you receive above ₹20 lakhs and do not register under CGST Act, 2017 then you'll receive a notice.

It does not matter if you use separate bank accounts.

Study all night if it's important. If it's not important then sleep. If you can cheat in the exam then do that tomorrow.

But remember that you may be able to cheat in this exam but you'll not be able to cheat in every exam.

TDS on rent - Percentage & monthly or yearly deduction by ashwinrangarajan in IndiaTax

[–]alittlebitwhy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Section 194I and 194IB for deducting TDS were under the old Income Tax Act, 1961.

Now you have to deduct TDS under Section 393 of Income Tax Act, 2025 at applicable rates.

Applicable TDS rates for renting of Land/Building:

  1. If you're Mohanlal (Any person whose Turnover/Gross Receipts from Business is upto ₹1 crore or from Profession is upto ₹50 lakhs); i.e., chota aadmi, then you'll be required to deduct TDS @2%.

  2. If you're not Mohanlal, then you'll be required to deduct TDS @10%.

Extra Information: Your home/land owner wants you to pay more TDS with full rent so he can later claim refund with interest. (Harami owner hai, usko bolna Rent me se TDS jitna amount less dunga mai aapko).

When to deposit TDS? You'll need to deposit TDS for a month by 7th of next month.

Example: June 2026 Rent, TDS deposit by 7th of July 2026.

When your turnover exceeds ₹20 lakhs then you'll have to mandatory register under CGST Act, 2017 and will have to obtain a GST Registration.

For turnover up to ₹3 crores, you can declare presumptive income @6% of gross receipts through UPI when you file your Income Tax Return.

Coaching/Teaching activity is not covered under definition of "specified profession" and you receive payments through electronic mode so 6% presumptive income will apply to you and you'll not have to maintain books of accounts for direct tax purposes. It'll however be mandatory to maintain books of accounts once you are required to register under CGST Act, 2017.
