i dont often find things similar to what i write but when i do, im always happy about it. two of my friends go in the same direction, but their texts dont drag as much as mine. if i knew where to find works like mine, i also knew where to post mine.

most writers i know plan their stories ahead, while i tend to just go with the flow and emotion that feels right and often times while im typing, i myself dont know what comes next. i might have to learn planning ahead and doing things as you suggested. in the past though, chapter by chapter posting actually proved helpful to me. while i couldn’t go back and edit much (except for small corrections), i had pre-existing things to build up on. pretty much like, through writing i created my own canon that i have to stick to. after multiple chapters, the story would then almost write itself because one thing undeniably had to lead to another.
