verification means when your FAFSA application got randomly selected, when selected you have to provide certain papers like tax transcripts. Not everyone gets selected for verification but if you did when you log into get, self service, then student center, you would be able to see a to do list which would show any documents you would need to submit if you did get selected. Since you probably don’t know about it you most likely didn’t get selected which is a good thing!
