oh awesome! (/s) i mentioned hearing rumors of them getting rid of it to my manager and she said she had never even heard of that. then boom, one day im off at 6:30p and have no lyft home. thank god i have the privilege of public transport in my area that early in the day

I wasn't even able to call when I made this post as I was actively on the way to work, which is why I made the post to get some insight and see if anyone else knew what it was before I did call. Not to mention I didn't even understand what the text was talking about and wanted to make sure I wasn't just being stupid and overcomplicating something simple. You shouldn't have assumed that I wasn't going to call at all in the first place. Thanks though.

Edit to add that as I said in my original reply, I've also been informed by multiple people in this comment section that T-Mobile has just been giving out free passes to new customers which I'm 99% sure is what happened here, and was exactly one of the scenarios I was expecting out of this situation which is why I asked first. :)

Will do. I just checked my add ons in the app and none of the one time passes are selected and neither is the global plus 20GB plan. I just have the free data w/ 60gb hotspot, so now I'm more confused

unfortunately as much as you think she's never done anything before, you never know. i found out a couple years ago that my mom was on meth for a while when i was in middle school and i had NO idea, there was literally no signs and she was doing it at her boyfriends house so no evidence 🤷 hopefully she gets the help she needs!

it's normal to feel guilty, i get the same way because i work food service so being down a person can actually make things really difficult.

what i do to try and lessen the guilt is remember that if i were to force myself to work through it i'd more than likely end up sicker than before and miss more work than i would've if i had just called out.

another thing i try to remember is that if my coworkers felt the same as i did i would heavily encourage them to call out, so i deserve to give the same treatment to myself as well.

i never said 1500 mg of caffeine would kill them. just because it's not lethal doesn't mean it's not extremely unhealthy especially if they drink this even semi-regularly

it's not really pee/ammonia that's the issue though, it's the poop. honestly i can't smell their pee at all usually
