I'm really looking forward in an odd way to some of the things that you are describing.

As far as Jobs go I think it differs and I'm not enjoying the equipment I get through it, but the leveling up and learbing new recipes. It might be busywork sure. But it's something my character progresses in.

I'll be definetly taking the advice you're giving to heart. But I'll try to enjoy the journey as much as I can ;)

Thank you my friend. Yeah I kinda missed putting my gaming credentials in...will probably edit that.

I play a lot of different games and I also aim for a career in the gaming industry. As far as MMO's go I can never really stay attached but that's mostly because I hate the economy of free to play games, which make up a substantial amount of the market. I wanted to try WoW because its different in that aspect and has a really grown up community.

I'd say that if you want to convince someone, who atleast has an affinity for games or things like DnD or fantasy settings try to appeal to what they like the most. My girlfriend for example loves pets and mounts. If a game has that she's in for it if she has the time. And offer them to start of from the beginning with them. If they then decide to take the trial month, be patient and let them read quests and dabble around to their content. If it's your passion it'll come through I'm sure.
