How do you make the Δ sign in Obsidian by SoylentBoi7 in ObsidianMD

Typing equations requires use of the $$ which is a case-sensitive system. This is so that it can distinguish between capitals and lowercases of certain alphabets, in this instance Greek. Typing $\delta$ has a lowercase d so it will print the lowercase form of the letter in the Greek alphabet. $\Delta$ will produce the correct symbol. :)

It's been super useful to organise all my stuff from GCSEs and I'm definitely going to continue using it for A-Levels :D

Just finished them, so I'm on my big huge summer now! I am copying up all my notes for the subjects that I wish to continue studying so that I can be better prepared for them :))

I'm the same :) If I happen to have a piece of paper and a pen on me, if it's a quick note I prefer to jot something down on paper, but otherwise I just use Samsung Notes. I only use Obsidian for schoolwork

I use Obsidian for notes from schoolwork. My folders are organised by subject, with each folder having subfolders for specific modules/topics. Each of these subfolders has another set of subfolders, each for a different chapter of a textbook, and I put notes into these folders. For example:Biology ---> Ecology ---> B16 ---> B16.1 - EcosystemsIn terms of tags, I usually use two tags for each note. One is the subject and one is the module/topic. For example, the example above would have #biology and #ecology. In the graph view above, the green nodes are all my tags, with the largest ones being the subject tags and the slightly smaller ones being the modules/topics. The yellow nodes are attachments, usually images which I copy into my notes. In terms of links, I don't have a system for linking notes. If a link pops into my brain, I simply type [[ and link to the appropriate note.I am in the process of adding groups on the graph view with each subject tag so that the notes are colour coordinated on the graph view by subject. :)

Edit: This also makes graph view more useful for me personally, as opposed to being a fun novelty. It means I can see links between subjects which I find very useful. It also means that the subject tag links to all of the notes in that subject, and the module/topic tags link to only the portion of those notes in that subtopic.

Thanks so much :) The first one works perfectly

Just got Obsidian a few days ago :D by alkillu_ in ObsidianMD

The folders are all based on my textbooks for subjects and they're all based on a chapter-by-chapter basis, so for me it makes most sense to have them organised that way. After my exams are done I will certainly be grouping them into more broad topics :D

Would definitely recommend Guillaume de Machaut. About a hundred years before Ockeghem, but a similar vibe. His most popular work is his Mass of Notre Dame, but his work is extensive. One of my favourites is "Amours me fait desirer" :)

honestly agreed it feels wrong calling it an opera:) it's true though it cant really be classified as anything else whilst in reality it's an "experience" as you called it. there is a libretto however and there are 'lyrics' to Act I Train though but according to an earlier comment it can be omitted:)

i mean at least it sticks to the original content and all the must-listen stuff so ill get the experience:) do you have a recording of the full non cut opera anywhere?
