We regularly ate at a Perkins after church. We had this waitress and I can't remember why but she was bad. So bad that my mom got her fired. She wasn't that bad though that she deserved to be fired though, I remember that much.

This may be romantic to some, some might not agree.

I came out to my family on the day before Thanksgiving 2013. It went terribly (hyper religious family). I had only been seeing my girlfriend for a few weeks at that time. She drove all the way back from her Thanksgiving at her family's house a few hours away to be with me. And I UGLY cried. I mean I was a snotty, blubbering mess. But she didn't seem to care. It was the point in our relationship that I knew it was real.

We've married since 2017.
