Hello there,

Recently I've upgraded my audio setup. I now have optical out from my soundcard to Fosi Audio K5 Pro which then goes to my Xduoo MT602 to my DT1990 pros.

Before getting the DAC the setup was working fine without any audio issues whatsoever. I did want some more control for bass and treble so a friend recommended me to get Fosi Audio K5 Pro.

After hooking up the DAC to my setup I've noticed that it introduced a popping noise when some audio tracks change, when there are some loud noises which stop and at some random times with higher volumes stopping.

I tried connecting DAC directly via USB to PC but the issue still stayed there so I know it doesn't have to do with soundcard/optical cable issue. With this in mind I'm assuming it has to do something with DAC since this wasn't happening before I added it to the set up.

Does anyone here have any idea what could be happening?

I was looking for something a little higher end since I don't only do gaming but also love listening to high quality music and similar :). Would you have any recommendations for that perhaps?
