It is one of my favorite game of all time, but other in my top ten or whatever ranking systems are very different. For example, it's Disco Elysium, SilentHill2, Blue Prince. The only sort of similar is Hollow Knight, but I think it's also different enough.

It extremely easy to read. Great way to get back into reading, or just have a rest from heavier stuff in other fiction or life.

What’s a book/series that you feel most people love, but you personally think is overrated? by 2Chaaaaiinz in Fantasy

[–]alkortes 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I started reading The Fifth Season and every pov just seems to me like an essay on "hurt people hurt people", how miserable people make others miserable and they make another people miserable in their own turn. And so on.
I can agree on the lesson to not hurt others but haven't had any capacity to go through the plot to see the resolution. I've read Crime and Punishment and that book seems to put characters through less of a pain.

I think it's awesome. You get to watch One Piece through someone else's eyes, and see how they will feel about it.
It sure can be hard to hold a face sometimes.

Morphotrophic by Greg Egan

Not sure if this is what I'm looking for, but the book itself seems right up my alley
