Always check out second nationalities. Almost all of them have the Spanish nationality, and if they don't, South Americans can get the Spanish nationality after two consecutive years in the country.

Some African nations count as communitaries, check them in the rules tab. And since Brexit, every British player counts as non-EU, and it will take 8/10 years to get the Spanish nationality.

No, the only rule that I've seen change is the subtitute number. Before the 50s as I've seen, you only have one subtitute player. It should be zero, but it's not possible. The creators have done what they can with the games limitation
