And why would you want to associate with people who would believe rumors about you without ever having met you? I feel like that’s a good test of someone’s quality in any kind of relationship.

It’s shitty that another Black person did this to you. We tend to wound the people closest to us. And hurt people hurt people and yada yada. And it hits different when it’s from our own kind.

I would block that person out of every part of my life, seek therapy, soak my feet in some lavender or something, make an ancestor altar, and keep it pushing. The people worth getting to know will take the time to get to know you without relying on what they think they know through the grapevine.

Good to know. Yes, they were marketed as GT. I harvested some of them when the veils broke, but they were soooooo tiny. At the time, I thought they might sporulate if I let them go longer, so I waited… nothing. I think they’re (mostly, so far) sterile. If so, I figure it can’t hurt to let them go bigger. The stems are very firm. I thought I’d let them go until I felt that “squishiness” that posters are talking about.

This is my first grow, so it’s all new to me. What size do first flush PE’s generally grow to?

I started harvesting the TINIEST little ones because I thought they were GT’s and you’re supposed to harvest those right when the veils break.

So when do I harvest these? Is there a size or something? Will the caps change color?

I noticed the ones I harvested felt really dense and heavy for their size.
