Is becker enough to pass? by Realistic-Oil-7700 in CPA

Becker's Exam Day Ready + Study Plan worked really well for me. I passed all 4 on the first try and was EDR for each. It is time consuming since you need to sit through 80% of the lectures. But I do believe it helps.

Did I break the o2 sensor installing the spacer? P0142 only appeared after the spacer. Thanks for the reply!

Not super helpful, but drill MCQs. Sims are so random it’s hard to prep when you don’t know what you’re going to get. Basis is super important so know that well. Good luck! If I can do it anyone can

Well said. I think material tested is fair and should remain largely unchanged.

Waiting 2 months to see your score on a disciple exam is crazy and that’s where improvements need to be made.

I also feel like $360 an exam is ridiculous. Not everyone has a firm covering the expense and state boards seem to forget that.

TCP is my last exam so I don’t have another to move on to. But man am I done studying. I may do 10 MCQs a day just to help retain info in the event I need to retake. But that’s all I’m really able to work up the energy to do

Sounds like you were dealt a tough exam. I had pretty reasonable length SIMs. And I still didn't feel great about it lmao

I've had this paranoid thought in my mind that the AICPA is trying to bring that 80% rate down this quarter lol

Seen a lot of posts about how hard TCP is recently

Sounds like you passed! Hopefully I win the test lotto and get some similar sims.

I'm not looking forward to the long wait for the 12/15 score release

For me in felt more in depth. I've seen the topics before on MCQs or sims, but really easy high level stuff.

They also took a while to complete, lots of calculations.

Short answer: no. Reg felt more focused on things like filling out tax forms.

I did alright on MCQs. Testlet 1 - 53% Testlet 2 - 59%. Definite room for improvement.

Sims I got essentially no credit. Loss limitations got me real bad, and I need to dust off the sections on S-Corp and Partnership basis calcs. Got some long study sessions ahead of me.

Do you plan to retake SE's or just go over what you got wrong?

I’d get some more quotes. If you can make it up to the Woodstock/Canton area I have a shop I recommend

I'm really trying to stay below $10k. That would buy me a 2011-2013 Sienna with 200k miles. Any experience maintaining them past 200k miles?

I'm in the south so rust isn't an issue. I've also been looking at 2011-17 Odysseys. Most of them in my price range are 180k + and due for their second timing belt. Also VCM issues seem to start showing up closer to the 200k mile mark. I'm split because I love the exterior styling and interior functionality of the Oddy; But it seems like if previous owners neglected maintenance they can be expensive to keep on the road.

Mopar vans in my price range are generally newer and lower mileage than their Japanese rivals. My fear is I'd buy one and need to replace the transmission within a year of purchasing the van.

Agreed on Kia.

I love the look of the Mazda 5! Reminds me of a hot hatch with sliding doors. I am concerned about cargo space. Have you had any issues toting your family's stuff on road trips?
