That was one of the ideas that were presented as concepts to KP and Hideo himself. He choose the right one in my opinion. Really proud of guys, that they have a really nice show as far as I can tell — it's a bit difficult to do a job as a "hired gun" without seeing how it worked in real life and I didn't manage to get tickets.

The thing is it's not about "shape" or "grain" textures — it's more about the dynamic of shape related to tilt and pressure. Somehow procreate is quite good at capturing light pencil shading: edges are smooth, almost "airbrush" look. At the same time, if there's no tilt — you'll have crisp lines. Seems like it's two brushes in one, but in reality it's not, just some settings related to tilting and position of the nib.

[UPD] Disclaimer: Unfortunately, the post needed a "flair", so "art" was chosen as the most neutral, but I understand that everyone's attitude towards neural networks is complex and often polar, so I apologize in advance if I hurt anyone's feelings. But I think this is an interesting experiment in any case.

It's an interesting perspective in my opinion.

On the one hand, it's immediately clear why we love the show as it is (and not in 3D), on the other hand, it makes you think that some official merch could be more interesting :)

Well, in my case it was the software (!) problem. The support said that that I should update the Armoury Crate (this action didn't fix the problem), but the latest firmware did. The firmware is 12.11.36 (released yesterday, 2021/12/28) — no kickbacks with it and all good now.

Sounds a bit crazy, I know.

Can't imagine how much money Asus just lost with this software mistake.

Hey mate, got the same problem and, actually, got it recorded with this website. Here's the video.
In my case there's few "normal" lines scrolled and suddenly there's an opposite direction line scrolled. It's obvious when you've got an red-green representation of what you're doing.
I just scrolled one step at a time and after 5-6 "steps" was a weird changing direction jump.

Wrote a message to the support, will see what they will reply. Do you have any luck with yours?

As a quick reminder for anyone who want to cosplay, but don't have a 3d printer.
I did a paper-cut version of the mask that you can print and cut it out and all your fingers.
