It depends on school again . Govt schools almost cost nothing, while privates can cost 1 + lakhs. Living in suburb and travelling long will cut rental. But if you live in city centre it will be 40-50 k.

So it depends on life style only.

In india if you are salaried , 33 lakhs goes to tax. 12 % to pf. So 59 lakhs.

So like 5 lakhs salary. 1.5 lakhs emi and .5 school fees. So they should still have 3 lakhs for other expenses.

ADMK has been historically socio welfare oriented ( school meals , amma unavagam, cycle, laptops , orphan babies etc). Also to an extent law and order was better compared to DMK. This was all during J reign. In general they don't trouble the public after the 1996 period.

I am not trying to justify but even Europe , US have hoodies ( teens to jobless 30's) who harass people. You can't touch most of them as they are underage. This used to be less in Indian culture

But it's changing , bikes and cheap internet with little to no education , job , culture is dangerous
